RECURRENT URINARY TRACT INFECTION: THE COMMON PROBLEM

WHAT IS A URINARY TRACT INFECTION?
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a catch-all term for an infection that occurs anywhere in the urinary tract.
For women, this includes infections in the kidneys (pyelonephritis, characterized by fever) or bladder (also called “cystitis,” with typical painful urination, frequency and urgency). We often use the terms “UTI” and “bladder infection” interchangeably.
Dr. Christi Explains UTI Treatment
Discover in this video from LifeSculpt By ChristiMD™️ in Houston, TX, what UTI Treatment can do for you, and whether you’re a candidate.
How UTI Treatment Works
During the consult, Dr. Christi will talk with you openly and honestly, asking and answering any and all questions. If it appears you might have a UTI, we’ll take samples and send them for lab tests.
You’ll also have a thorough examination of the pelvic area, and a microscopic examination of urine samples.
This could include a renal ultrasound to look at your kidneys; an x-ray to look for stones; and a bladder scope in-office to evaluate the bladder wall.
