“About two years ago, after having my third baby, I started experiencing extreme fatigue. I had no energy, felt mentally foggy, and struggled to get through each day. Even going to work felt exhausting. My hair also started falling out, and that was the first major symptom that made me realize something wasn’t right.
I went to my primary care doctor, who ordered extensive blood work. Because of the hair loss, I was referred to a dermatologist. I saw multiple specialists, had countless tests, and even underwent testing for autoimmune conditions. Every time, I was told the same thing: ‘Everything looks normal.’
Hearing that was incredibly discouraging because I knew I didn’t feel normal. I began to feel hopeless. I knew something was wrong, but no one could explain why I felt so exhausted or why my body wasn’t functioning the way it used to.
Around that time, my husband and I owned a café, and one of our customers noticed how tired I looked. She recommended that I see Dr. Christi because she had such a positive experience herself.
At first, I wasn’t interested because I had heard mixed opinions about hormone therapy. I put the idea aside. Later, I brought it up with my medical doctor, who explained that she didn’t generally recommend hormone therapy based on the available evidence. After exhausting so many other options, though, I reached a point where I felt I had nothing to lose by exploring another approach.
Making that appointment was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
After just one month of treatment, I started feeling like myself again. I had more energy, my mental fog began to lift, and I wanted to be active again. I found myself getting in the pool with my kids, playing with them, and enjoying life in a way I hadn’t in a long time. Even my husband noticed a difference and commented that I seemed like myself again.
I truly feel like I’ve gotten my life back. I feel energized, motivated, and alive. This is only the beginning of my journey, but the improvement I’ve experienced has been incredible.
I’ve also noticed positive changes in my overall wellness. Combined with my IV vitamin treatments and other aspects of my care, I feel healthier than I have in years. For me, the comprehensive approach has been life-changing.
