No, MonaLisa Touch doesn’t hurt. During the procedure, lidocaine numbing jelly is placed on the vaginal opening to numb the area for maximum comfort. Then, a probe is gently inserted into the vagina and the CO2 laser delivers its energy to the target areas.

There’s little to no downtime after MonaLisa Touch. You can get back to many activities immediately after treatment. We do recommend waiting 1 to 3 days before lifting heavier weight, taking a hot bath, having intercourse, or exercising.
